Anita Briem, an Icelandic actress, is well-known. She is most well-known as the actress who appeared as Jane Seymour in the TV series The Tudors. Briem was born in Iceland and began her journey as an actor at age nine years old at Iceland's National Theater, is best famous for her portrayal of Jane Seymour. In her native Iceland she worked on radio, television and various other shows as an early actor. Briem became a child actor at age sixteen when she emigrated to London. Participated in an adaptation of Lenin and the Count of Monte Cristo, performed in Love at the New End Theater. Briem received a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at the age of 19.
