Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at the Preparatory School she attended before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons working in Chicago the theatre before moving to film and TV roles. Anna's first big part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. The early 90s were when she was a frequent guest in TV and film like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. She also starred as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn is also a part of the stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn also was a part of a four-part audio-play show named "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the relationship he has with Skyler are mirrored in the television show.
